                                           DIVULGATIONS & DIDACTICS

Since 1972  G.A.T. has been working in an astronomical sector with public lectures, with considerable activity in schools. This activity is going to continue with the help of FOAM13 so it will give a pratical answer to the spread and to didactic about the ASTRONOMY .

The Pineta Park will help FOAM13 with public tours to the OBSERVATORY and to the NATURAL PATH. We’ve just discussed about a scientific program, but it will be a future surprise!!!

FOAM13 will organize lectures and meetings with other observatories and organizations.

G.A.T. and FOAM13 will give to Tradate a new RELEVANCE!!

Are the cultural tools to make interesting a city (Theatres, Mounuments, Churchs, Libraries, Museums, Institutes, Observatories …), aren't they?

                PROGRAMS & TOOLS

The main telescope Newton of FOAM13 observatory will have a 650 millimetres diameter and a focal f/5 (built by DUB OPTIKA factory).
Supernova study: with the main telescope we can watch far and weak Supernovas as far as 21/22 Magnitude, and we can estimate galactic distances.
Nucleus study: with the main telescope, we can study weak light comets that are very far and  we can have a better resolution of nearer comets, that we‘ve already studied.
Rotation asteroids and NEAR study: with the main telescope we can study  the weakest and farest asteroids and we can establish (with light changment) their shapes.

With the main telescope we can raise optical couterpart of Gamma Ray lightings. This is an important study,  astronomers have been studying the mystery of Gamma Ray or Gamma Burst for more than 30 years. They are the  biggest explosions in all Universe, these phenomenon happen in all regions of sky and their energy have a power like energy released from all stars in our galaxy, in a year! These explosion are very fast and only with special types of telescopes like FOAM telescopes you can search for their optical couterpart, after that Gamma Burst is raised by Satellites. These phenomenons happen in primordial peculiar galaxies or they are a new type of SUPERNOVA.

                           "Auxiliares" Telescopes

romano.zen@tiscali.it

With  ZEN 315 millimetres diametre (focal f/15) Cassegrain classic telescopes   you can study the surface of planets, evolution of clouds in planets, gasiform huges like study of double stars.
With ZEN  Maksutof-Flat field 290 millimeters diametre telescope with short focal f/3,7, you can study the big fields for survey and the discover of asteroids, NEAR and comets.

With refractor ZEN  Apochromatic 150 millimetres   (focal f/5.3) telescope you can study asteroids in the sky and you can have a  super vision about the surface of moon and planets.

                                 Solar   Tower

The solar tower was built by DUB OPTIKA factory situated in Varese and it’s made of a siderostat (it is made of  reflecting mirrors, that it has a 250  millimetres  diametre on a equatorial installation fork) in a cupola 2 metres diametre. The main lens is an apochromatic lens 120 millimetres diametre f/16.5 that projects the bean (divided in 4 focus by a prism) on an optical bench made of granite to have:
- solar spectrum with a reflection reticule (dimensions: 40 x 40 with 600 lines/mm).
- recording, with CCD camera HISIS43E equiped with a kodak chip kaf1601E and minitron telecamera about the photosphere and about active prominence.
- halfa filter with variable opening from 3 to 0,5 anstrong.
- projection about solar disk on screen 1,20 metres diametre.
Study of Sun: with solar tower in PHYSICAL laboratory you can study evolution of  solar photosphere in optical light and in Halfa, with attention to evolution of solar protuberance that interacts with earth atmosphere and magnetosphere and the study of solar cycles, trend of dimensions and the number of sunspots.

     Recording Equipments

All the telescopes of FOAM13 observatory can be equipped with modern recording equipments for gathering. The observatory can have 4 cameras with CCD circumferentor, that have different dimensions, these recording equipments on the telescopes can record digital pictures, these CCD cameras are the same CCD cameras of Europixel system factory, that today equipe Italian and foreign professional observatories.

HISIS ALFA 1001 camera equiped with KODAK KAF1001E sensor 1024 x 1024 pixel, with 25 micron (dimensions 25,0 x 25,0 millimetres ).

HISIS43ME camera equiped with KODAK KAF1603ME sensor 1563 x 1024 pixel, with 9 micron (dimensions 14,0 x 9,2 millimetres ) microlens technology.
HISIS43 camera equiped with KODAK KAF1601E sensor 1563 x 1024 pixel, with 9 micron (dimensions 14,0 x 9,2 millimetres ) for solar recordings.
HISIS23ME camera equiped with KODAK KAF0402ME sensor 768x512 pixel, with 9 micron (dimensions 6,9 x 4,6 millimetres ) for microlens technology.
